If the carbon content of steel is reduced and a small amount of aluminum, a small amount of boron and carbide forming elements are added, the low carbon bainite group can be obtained with high strength, and maintain good plasticity and toughness.
Mechanical property
Mild steel is a ductile material. The stress-strain curve can be divided into four stages: elastic stage, yield stage, strengthening stage and local deformation stage, in which there are obvious yield and necking phenomena. At the beginning, it is an elastic stage, rising in a straight line in full compliance with Hooke's law, and the deformation accelerates after the proportional limit, but there is no obvious yield stage.
